Lagos street food – Tasty but deceptive

Lagos street food – Tasty but deceptive

I am insanely curious by nature and this also extends to street food. I am the person in a group that will try the weird thing nobody else will.

About a year ago, I went to Oniru market with a friend and as expected I had to dive in and get one of each thing I saw. I had a feeling I was being cheated when they said it was between N50 – N100 ($0.15 – $0.30) but I was intrigued. The first thing I did when I got home was cut each of them open and then it was revealed why the prices were low. Sigh

Street food is still my favorite food anyways.
